Warren Buffett Diagnosed with Early Prostate Cancer

US billionaire Warren Buffett has revealed that he has been diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer.

However, the 81-year-old tycoon has pointed out that his condition is "not remotely life-threatening."

"I feel great — as if I were in my normal excellent health - and my energy level is 100 percent," Buffet has commented in a letter to his company's shareholders, as cited by international media.

The chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway will undergo a two-month radiation treatment beginning in mid-July.

Cancer experts say Buffett's diagnosis shouldn't be a major concern because it appears his doctors caught the disease early.

Buffett held the number three spot on the Forbes richest list released last month, with an estimated net worth of USD 44 B.
