Fire Signal for Bulgaria's Mall of Sofia Was Fake
Business | April 16, 2012, Monday // 14:35| viewsA signal for fire broken out in one of the central malls of Bulgaria's capital Sofia Monday turned out to be fake.
Fire fighters and police were alerted late Monday morning by citizens about smoke billowing from the Mall of Sofia building.
However, upon arriving at the site, they found no signs of fire present. It was believed that the fire might have been caused by malfunctioning of the air conditioning system.
This was to be the second fire for the Mall of Sofia for 2012, after January 1 a huge advertisement screen on the facade short-circuited and caught fire.
