Good Friday to Bring Sunshine, Showers in Bulgaria

Temperatures in Bulgaria on Good Friday, the most solemn day ahead of Easter, are forecast to reach 20-24C, but the sunshine delight will be coupled with shower spells.

On Friday the mercury will zoom up to 20 degrees Celsius in the western parts in the country and the capital Sofia, but the morning will be cold – 4-9 degrees Celsius.

Showers took a break on Wednesday, but will return on Friday, mainly in Western and Central Bulgaria.

For the Easter holidays, the weather will remain warm and sunny and the mercury is forecast to climb up to 23 degrees Celsius, but significant temperature changes are not ruled out due to the volatile nature of the Mediterranean cyclone, which is sweeping the country.

Temperatures in the mountains will reach 7 degrees with sunny weather and low winds.
