The stint of Bulgaria's biggest football star and former Barcelona striker Hristo Stoichkov as coach of champions Litex Lovech may turn out to be short-lived.

Stoichkov, who took over the Bulgarian champs at the beginning of this year, is considering a very attractive offer by a foreign club, local Tema Sport magazine reported, without revealing its name.

Hristo Stoichkov, one of the legendary Barcelona players in the 90's, has had a rather disappointing career as a coach, his last club being South African Mamelody Sundowns.

This is the first time that he is coaching a club in his native country.

Besides coaching Litex Lovech, Stoichkov has also engaged in promoting the products of Chinese car company Great Wall Motor Co.

Bulgaria's Litex Motors and China's Great Wall Motors recently unveiled their first vehicle assembled in the plant near the northern Bulgarian city of Lovech, where the team of Litex is based.

Litex are currently third on 48 points from 23 games in the first league ranking, trailing behind leaders CSKA Sofia and surpise runner-up Ludogorets.
