Bulgaria's major diplomatic reshuffle is set to continue, as the country's Council of Ministers has suggested the appointment of four new Ambassadors abroad.

Career Diplomats Lyubomir Todorov and Georgi Karastamatov will be appointed as heads of the Bulgaria's diplomatic missions in Finland and Armenia respectively.

Former Deputy Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Maya Hristova has been suggested as the country's next Ambassador to Azerbaijan. Hristova's responsibility as Deputy Minister was in the sphere of energy.

Col. Nikolay Yankov, former Military Attache in Rome, will be appointed as Ambassador to Afghanistan.

The appointments now have to be approved by President Rosen Plevneliev.

In January, Bulgaria launched its major diplomatic reshuffle that aimed to replace Ambassadors whose terms have expired, as well as many envoys exposed as agents of the former State Security, the secret service of the Bulgarian communist regime.
