Czech President Klaus Arrives in Bulgaria

Czech President and former Prime Minister of the country, Vaclav Klaus, is arriving in Bulgaria Tuesday on a working visit.

Klaus is traveling on the invitation of his Bulgarian counterpart, Rosen Plevneliev.

The two will hold a behind closed door meeting, prior to talks between the official delegations.

Topics on the agenda will include expansion of the active political dialogue and partnership between Bulgaria and the Czech Republic in economy, trade, culture, science and education, and in the frame of the European Union, along with current situation in Southeastern Europe and hot spots across the globe.

Klaus will also meet with Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, and the Speaker of the Parliament, Tsetska Tsacheva.

At the end of the visit, the Czech President will present two of his books – "Where Tomorrow Begins" and "The European Integration without Illusions."
