CEO: Belene Reactor Can Be Used at Bulgaria's Kozloduy NPP

The first of the Russian-made nuclear reactors slated for the future Bulgarian Belene nuclear power plant can be installed at the existing Kozloduy NPP.
The statement was made by the Kozloduy CEO, Alexander Nikolov, speaking Tuesday in an interview for the State TV BNT, saying it was possible to add more reactors at the site of the NPP.
The CEO further explained that preparations would take 3 to 6 years, while the first energy from the new reactor will be produced in 12 years.
