Police Crack Down On Occupy Wall Street Spring Renewal

New York police have scattered protesters gathered in Zuccotti Park to celebrate six months from the start of Occupy Wall Street rallies.

Police have removed occupiers from the park, arresting dozens from the more than 300 activists who had assembled.

New York's Zuccotti Park was the site of the largest Occupy movement camp that lasted for months last year, before being removed by police.

Late Saturday police clashed again with activists expressing their outrage at what they see as a deeply flawed financial and social system.

According to ralliers, the event was just the first from a series of protests planned for the spring which they say are going to confirm the perseverance of the movement.
