Bulgaria's Lalova Makes It to World Athletics Cup Final

Bulgarian sprint runner Ivet Lalova qualified for the 60 m women's final at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics in Istanbul Sunday.

The 27-year old finished second in the third semi-final seris with a time of 7.23 seconds.

Jamaica's Irene Bayley finished with the same timing, and a photo-finish had to be used to determine who is first of them.

The winner of the semi-final was the Bahamas' Chandra Sturrup with 7.21 seconds.

Lalova's semi-final series was the most contested, but also had the highest timings among semi-finals.

The final for the 60 m sprint race in Istanbul is scheduled for later Sunday evening.
