Zornitsa Rusinova Appointed Bulgarian Deputy Social Minister

Zornitsa Rusinova was appointed Friday as Deputy Minister of Social Policy and Labor.

Rusinova will coordinate activities related to the EU Operational Program Development of Human Resources, other European programs and projects, international relations of the Ministry, and labor market policies.

The information was reported by the Ministry's press center.

Rusinova replaces Deyana Kostadinova who recently resigned to join the team of President, Rosen Plevneliev, as a Social Policy Secretary.

The new Deputy Social Minister has a Master's Degree in International Economic Relations and in English Language and Literature. She held senior positions at the former Ministry of State Administration and Administrative Reform and the Program for UN Development.

Since July 2009 until now, she had been Director of the Main Directorate European Funds, International Programs and Projects at the Social Ministry.
