371 Bulgarians Declare Income over BGN 100K for 2011

371 Bulgarian citizens have declared personal income over BGN 100,000 for the previous year up to Friday, according to Bulgarian National Revenue Agency records.

Bulgarian citizens have to file their tax declarations up to May 2, with the period being almost half over.

During the 2011 tax filing period, a total of 708 "rich Bulgarians" had filed declarations for income over BGN 100,000 for 2010.

For the time being, the top 20 persons with highest revenue for 2011 come foremost from the Bulgarian capital Sofia, but also include residents of Pazardzhik, Plovdiv and Smolyan.

The National Revenue Agency reminds that the deadline for filing companies' revenue reports and paying corporate tax is April 2.
