Bulgaria's official tourism portal, bulgariatravel.org, has launched the first of a series of entertaining interactive games aimed at boosting the country's popularity abroad.

"Do the dance, don't miss the chance! Win a magic vacation in Bulgaria" was released several weeks ago and aims to promote the colorful and attractive Bulgarian folk dances.

The game allows players to create a dance of their own by choosing the number of dancers (1 to 4) and inserting their photos into the slots for faces.

The participants will thereby make a funny video which they will be free to share with friends.

The interface of the game is in English to make videos shared through social media outlets more universally understandable.

The terms and conditions of the game and the prize list appear in one of nine languages, among which English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Hebrew and Bulgarian, depending on the location of the users recognized through IP-address.

Participants can register for the game via email or Facebook profile and can create an unlimited number of videos to share.

Each new video and each new participant attracted through a video earn points.

Points are also awarded per "share" and "like" on Facebook.

The player with the best score will get a one-week vacation for two at the four star Rhodopi Home Hotel in the center of the Chepelare mountain resort.

The participants with the 100 best scores will compete for three vacations for two at the Santa Marina Holiday Village near Sozopol.

All participants registered with valid data will participate in a raffle to win souvenirs.

"Do the dance, don't miss the chance! Win a magic vacation in Bulgaria" is implemented withing the framework of the project "Multimedia Catalogue of the Tourist Sites and Electronic Marketing of Destination Bulgaria" as part of the campaign to popularize the bulgariatravel.org portal.
