Bulgaria Degains 21 Illegal Migrants Crossing from Greece

Bulgarian border police detained 21 illegal migrants on a freight train entering at the Promachonas - Kulata checkpoint from Greece.

The train included 28 empty cars traveling in transit through Bulgaria to Croatia.

Police officers found in one of the cars 21 persons hiding, 19 of them with Algerian citizenship, 1 from Palestine and 1 from Somalia.

According to initial information, all of them had permits to stay in Greece, but their permits had fixed expiry date.

Their cases will be viewed at a Bulgarian court.
