Anggun, France's representative in the Eurovision Song Contest this year, has agreed to perform as guest artist at the Bulgarian national final on the last day of February.

The charming singer is expected to present to the Bulgarian audience her Eurovision entry Echo (You and I), which will be partly in English and partly in French.

Though promoted as a French singer, Anggun was born in Jakarta. She left Indonesia in 1994 to pursue an international career. After two years struggling in London and Paris, Anggun signed to Sony Music Entertainment.

She released her first international album, Snow on the Sahara (1997), in 33 countries worldwide; this album spawned her international signature hit "Snow on the Sahara", which reached number one in several countries.

The singer is well known for her collaborations with a host of international artists, including Julio Iglesias, Peter Gabriel and Pras Michel of the Fugees.

The Musical Academy and the viewers of the Bulgarian National Television, BNT, selected in the middle of January the 12 finalist to fight in the national final for representing the country at 2012 Eurovision song contest.
