Bulgarian teenager, Dimitar Dimitrov, 18, from Pernik, a classmate of the girl from the same city, who was kidnapped and murdered, had been found in a casino in the Black Sea city of Varna.

The news was reported Monday by the Varna police.

Dimitrov went missing Wednesday, when he was last seen by his brother Viviyan. He visited his brother's pawn shop in Sofia's "Studentski Grad" (College Town) district, taking BGN 2 000, and leaving a note saying he is sorry for what he's about to do.

On Saturday police issued a nationwide search for the teen after being notified by relatives that they did not now his whereabouts and that his cell phone was turned off.

Dimitar was wound in the casino of the "Cherno More" (Black Sea) hotel in Varna Sunday evening.

It transpired that Dimitar has been a classmate of Miroslava Nikolova, whose dead body was recently discovered near Pernik.

The case has sparked much controversy in Bulgaria, as Miroslava was abducted early November 2011.

Two persons were detained by police shortly after the discovery, but one of them mysteriously killed himself right in front of police officers.

Meanwhile, Pernik residents announced they will be staging weekly protest rallies until all perps and accomplices in MiroslŠ°va's murder are found and punished. They say they received support from people from all over the country.
