Turkey's Transport Minister, Binali Y?ld?r?m, believes bilateral relations between his country and Bulgaria are developing in the right direction while Bulgarian Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, labeled them "Marvelous."

"Bulgaria and Turkey have a lot in common, most likely the geographical location has its influence as well," Yildirim said Friday, during a meeting with Borisov and his Bulgarian counterpart, Ivaylo Moskovski.

Borisov stressed that the "marvelous" relations must be maintained, and there should be common decisions on how to overcome possible problems.

The three discussed different issues in the automobile, railroad, maritime and air transport along with partnership in the IT and communications sector.

The talks were held within the frame of the 24th session of the Bulgarian-Turkish Joint Commission on Transport and Communications, held in Sofia on January 5-6, under Moskovski's patronage. The possibilities to increase partnership in maritime and air transport and of development of combined transport of cargo were some of the main topics on the agenda.
