Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borisov is the one and only who has the right to assess the work of cabinet members, Agriculture Minister Miroslav Naydenov reiterated on Wednesday.

His statement was provoked by the recent "scandal" in which Finance Minister Simoen Djankov criticized him in an interview for a private TV channel and was immediately slammed by Borisov. Borisov accused his Deputy of sowing divisiveness in the parliamentary group of the ruling centrist-right GERB.

Whenever there is a dispute between Ministers that cannot be decided by the Prime Minister, it is the party's executive committee that steps in charge, Naydenov clarified on Wednesday.

"That does not mean we cannot have disputes or that we hate each other if we have such. There is nothing wrong with that, nothing at all," the Agriculture Minister told bTV. He further stated that there was "no drama" in his relations with Djankov, pointing out that the Finance Minister was under extreme pressure towards the end of 2011.

On December 30, Borisov  issued  a second warning for Djankov, this time over his injudicious remarks on healthcare reform in Bulgaria.
