Greece may have to exit the Eurozone if no new bailout for the country is agreed upon within the next three months, the new Greek coalition government has stated.

Negotiations with the International Monetary Fund, Brussels and the European Central Bank over the coming weeks would "determine everything", government spokesman Pantelis Kapsis has revealed.

"This famous loan agreement must be signed, otherwise we are outside the markets, out of the euro and things will become much worse," Kapsis has told a private Greek TV channel, as cited by The Guardian. He referred to the second emergency bailout deal worth EUR 130 B that would include a writedown for Greece's private-sector lenders.

A deal on the country's second rescue package that was promised in October 2011 is yet to be finalized.

Greek government officials have commented that Kapsis's remarks were intended to warn the Greek people of the difficult decisions ahead and send a message to the three parties taking part in the coalition government of the seriousness of Greece's situation, The Wall Street Journal informs.
