A day of mourning has been declared in the Russian region of Murmansk Tuesday for the victims of the tragic incident with the Russian floating oil platform "Kolskaya."

The platform capsized Sunday in a storm in the Sea of Okhotsk. According to the latest available information, the bodies of 14 people have been found since the beginning of search and rescue effort, but the rescue team was able to only pull 11 from the water due to strong winds and high waves.

Out of the 67 crew on board, only 14 have been confirmed rescued. The fate of Bulgarian, Zhivko Zhekov, who was working on the sunken platform, remains unknown.

The chances to find survivors at this point are slim, but the rescue operation is continuing Tuesday with the icebreaker "Magadan," the tow ship "Smith Sakhalin" and the ship "Yuri Taraburov" and with the help of powerful spotlights.

All flags are flying at half-staff Tuesday across the Russian Federation and in the Murmansk region. TV and radio would not air any entertainment broadcast.
