Santa Claus and Snow White are arriving in Sofia Saturday on an army MI-2 helicopter to give gifts to children.

They will land at the Sofia Museum of Military History in the midst of a Holiday party for kids, which is part of a charity campaign. The campaign is titled "Generosity without Borders," and is organized under the patronage of the Museum, of Defense Minister, Anyu Angelov, and the Sofia Inspectorate for Education.

A total of 867 children from 29 schools in the capital and across the country took part with drawings and poems, dedicated to the "Magic of Christmas." The funds, raised through the campaign, will be given to children of servicemen, who have perished in the line of duty through the "Children of Bulgarian Army" Foundation.

The program begins with the opening of an exhibit of children artworks, which were part in the contest, and will be offered for sale. There will be also a "Santa Workshop," where kids will have the opportunity to create Christmas cards, draw with wax and make different shapes.

There is a scheduled decoration of the "Grand Ma" Christmas tree where all ornaments are created through the use of traditional techniques and natural materials. A festive Christmas concert will also be held.
