10 Bulgarians Nabbed in Turkey for ATM Fraud

The police authorities in Turkey's largest city Istanbul have busted 10 Bulgarian citizens for skimming ATMs.

The Bulgarian citizens in question have placed skimming devices on 4 ATMs; for a week, they managed to skim the data of 300 people, and to steal TRY 50 000, the Bulgarian National Radio reported, citing the Istanbul police.

The organized crime group members were arrested in Istanbul as well as in a hotel on the Turkish-Greek border; the police seized a huge amount of skimming equipment.

The group was headed by two men – Rudolf Ivkov and Asen Rumenov, the investigation found.
