Explosions were heard Saturday morning at military storehouses near central northern Bulgarian town of Sevlievo.
No one has been injured, according to current information. The depots are located 8 km from Sevlievo, near the village of Lovnidol.
No chemical or other dangerous substances have been stored in the depot, so there is no danger for pollution from the blasts.
The depots have been isolated by security forces; workers and animals at a nearby equestrian base have been evacuated. Isolated blasts continue to be heard Saturday around noon.
According to initial information, the storehouses no longer belong to the Bulgarian military, but rather to a private company.
Back in July 2008, a military storage facility at Chelopechene near Sofia exploded, shocking the Bulgarian capital but luckily claiming no lives.
