British actor Clive Owen is to star in Moonstone Entertainment's action movie "Recall" that will be shot in locations including  Bulgaria and Washington D.C., according to media reports.

In the project, Owen will portray a National Security Agency (NSA)  agent who attempts to figure out what went wrong during a failed hostage rescue mission, Variety reports.

As the agent gets nearer the truth, the agent discovers he can trust no-one, including  his own memories.

The script for "Recall" is written by Paul Schrader, who is best known for his scripts for Martin Scorsese like Taxi Driver, Raging Bull and The Last Temptation of Christ. Harold Becker ("Mercury Rising", "Sea of Love") is set to direct the new movie.

Moonstone Entertainment founder Etchie Stroh will produce "Recall", which aims for a mid-March start date.
