Former Liverpool hot prospect and current Bulgarian international goalkeeper Nikolay Mihaylov is being lined up for a dream move to AC Milan, Italian media have reported.

The Italian giants are ready to pay around EUR 4 M for FC Twente's 23-year-old shot-stopper during the upcoming winter transfer window, Tribalfootball.com says. Milan are currently in the market for a young goalkeeper.

Barcelona are also hoping to snap up the youngster, El Mundo Deportivo has recently reported, according to the Bulgarian Topsport.

Nikolay Mihaylov is the son of Borislav Mihaylov, a legendary Bulgarian goalkeeper, the player with the most international appearances for Bulgaria and member of UEFA's executive committee. Nikolay's grandfather, Bisser Mihaylov, also used to be the country's international goalkeeper.

Nikolay Mihaylov himself declared several months ago he was willing to return to Liverpool and fight for a first-team spot there.
