10th Annual Sofia Tattoo Fest Underway in Bulgaria

The tenth annual Sofia Tattoo Fest has opened doors Saturday at the 4th Kilometer Party Center in the Bulgarian capital and is set to last until the wee hours Sunday.

The festival brings together key Bulgarian and international tattoo artists and showcases many picturesque elements not only of tattoo, but also of goth culture.

Events featured in the fest include alternative fashion shows, competition for tattoos in various categories, a gothic belly dance, as well as a Miss Tattoo competition.

Spanish body suspension group "A Sangre Fria Body Art" will also be guesting at the event with their extreme show.

Visitors will be able to get a tattoo or piercing right at the site by the featured artists under the sounds of bands and DJs playing.

The event will be once more presented by Bulgarian actor Stanislav Ianevski, who played the Viktor Krum character in the movie "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire."
