Spanish club Atletico Maddrid will try to sign Manchester United's unsettled forward Dimitar Berbatov during the upcoming winter transfer window, according to reports from Spain.

Even though Berbatov ended the 2010-11 campaign as the joint-top goalscorer in the Barclays Premier League, he has so far struggled for regular first-team football this term.

Berbatov is sick and tired of watching Manchester United's games on the bench and is ready to demand a transfer during the upcoming winter transfer window, it was recently reported.

Even though Berbatov has pledged on numerous occasions that he has no intentions of leaving the Red Devils, he has apparently grown too frustrated over not getting any first team opportunities.
