The official campaign video of Bulgarian ruling GERB party presidential candidate, Regional Development Minister Rosen Plevneliev, makes a strong bid for a constructive and dialogical presidency.

In the clip, Plevneliev vows to work hard for Bulgaria's economic prosperity, but also for its "cultural and spiritual" progress.

The infrastructure minister, who in the last year has consistently been among the one or two politicans with the highest approval ratings in Bulgaria, has vowed to listen to all participants in the political process and to be unhesitant in voicing his positions.

Plevneliev's candidacy was unveiled Sunday afternoon at a press conference of center right ruling GERB party. His companion in the race will be Minister of Justice Margarita Popova.

It was announced that the two will resign from their ministerial positions at the cabinet sitting on Wednesday, showing confidence they will win the October 23 vote.

Opinion polls show a comfortably wide margin for the GERB candidates ahead of key rivals, Bulgarian Socialist Party nominee Ivailo Kalfin and ex-EU Commissioner Meglena Kuneva.

The Plevneliev campaign video starts out with a setting in the Business Park Sofia, a business complex that Plevneliev was instrumental in constructing and managed before becoming minister.

Plevneliev vows to hold an presidential term open to the concerns of every Bulgarian citizen, and to lay a special emphasis on the development of well tought out strategies for Bulgaria's future.
