Bulgarian police from Varna, aided by trained dogs, recovered a 3-year-old girl who went lost in a sunflower field.

A group of children went to pick sunflowers in the fields by the village of Dzhulino in Varna region, but upon their way home they inadvertently left their little companion behind.

Police were soon alerted and 15 officers, together with 50 local residents went on a thorough serach of the field.

One of the two police dogs with the group sniffed the track of the small child, which was soon uncovered some 2 km from where her companions remembered last seeing her.

The little girl was feeling good and had suffered no injuries.
