Bulgarian Climber Dies Trying to Conquer Mont Blanc

A 65-year-old Bulgarian has perished trying to climb Mont Blanc in France.

The woman, a native of Sofia, whose name has not been announced, died after falling from 200 meters along the Trois-Mont-Route.

The incident happened around noon on Monday, the French gendarmerie in Chamonix announced, cited by BGNES.

The climber's ropes are said to have untied at about 4 300 meters above sea level. The French authorities have started to investigate the incident.
