The ruling Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria, GERB, party have their presidential and vice presidential nominations ready, according to Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Tsvetan Tsvetanov.

Tsvetanov, who is also the head of the GERB election campaign headquarters, spoke Sunday during the official ceremony of the opening of the renovated party headquarters in Sofia.

When asked if he was one of the nominations, Tsvetanov gave a "no" response, but refused to offer any names, reiterating they will be revealed on September 4.

GERB's election campaign slogan is "We Are Building Bulgaria," the Minister revealed.

"We are opening today the party headquarters and they have a new look. Our victory in the July 2009 elections led to the building of headquarters that correspond to the needs of our political formation and allow us to not pay rent for facilities outside these headquarters," Tsvetanov declared, extending gratitude to the architects and to the builders for their accurate and timely work, and to the Konrad Adenauer and Hanns Seidel Foundations for their partnership in civil initiatives and good policies.

23 people are going to work in the new offices under conditions that would allow them to fulfill their duties in a dignified manner while visitors from other parts of the country have spacious and comfortable waiting rooms, instead of being forced to stand on the street, according to the Deputy PM.

Father Kiril, from the St. Nikolay church, blessed the new facility and its employees.

The renovation works took six months, but the opening ceremony came one week ahead of schedule – party leader and Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, had said on several occasions the name of the GERB nomination to run for President on October 23 will be revealed on September 4 to coincide with the day the ruling party was going to show their new offices.
