Loyalist forces of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi have managed to free Mohammed Gaddafi, one of his three sons taken captive by the rebels.

The loyalist fighters stormed the house where Mohammed was held in Tripoli and set him free after clashing with the guards, Al Jazeera reported.

Gaddafi forces have gotten Mohammed Gaddafi out of the rebels' house arrest, after he and his brother Seif-al-Islam were captured overnight, and their third brother Saadi Gaddafi was caught by the rebels Monday afternoon.

The whereabouts of the dictator himself remain unknown in spite of conflicting reports.
