Triple Attack Leaves 14 Dead in Israel

A string of three terrorist attacks resulted in the deaths of 7 Israeli citizens and 7 Palestinian attackers in popular southern Israel resort town of Eilat.

In the first attack, shooters fired on a bus traveling to Eilat, soon after which attackers launched a missile on another vehicle.

In the third act of violence a bomb was detonated near an Israeli military patrol unit.

A total of seven Israeli citizens are reported killed, with at least 25 more wounded.

Agencies write that Israeli forces intercepted the militants, who are believed to have carried out all three attacks, and have eliminated them.

Israeli Minister of Defense Ehud Barak blamed extremists in Gaza for the attacks and promised to react with all due force.
