6th-ranked tennis player David Ferrer won a particularly hard game against top Bulgarian player Grigor Dimitrov at the second round of the ATP Masters in Cincinnati.

The Bulgarian started out well and almost marked his first win against a player in the top 10, winning the first set with 6:4.

After an even start of the second set, Ferrer made up, crushing the Bulgarian 1:6 in the second set.

The contested third set was won once again by the more experienced Spaniard, with 5:7. The whole match lasted two and a half hours.

With his first round win Tuesday however, which is his first at an ATP Masters, Dimitrov is expected to move up in the ranking, and to reach the 52th spot, which will be a record for him.
