New Air Traffic Control Tower at Sofia Airport to Be Built in 10 Months

Bulgarian Transport Minister Ivaylo Moskovski will attend Friday the signing of a contract for the preliminary design and construction of a new control tower at Sofia Airport.

The document will be signed by the Director General of the Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority (BULATSA) Diyan Dinev, Glavbolgarstroy Chief Executive Officer Pavel Kalistratov and Nina Stoyanova, Executive Director and member of the Managing Board of Glavbolgarstroy.

The new air traffic control tower is expected to take less than ten months to build at the price of BGN 14 813 030, VAT included.

The project is 100% financed with funds of BULATSA.

The signing of the contract has been scheduled for August 19, 10:00 a.m, at the BULATSA headquarters on Brussels Blvd 1 in Sofia.
