Media reports have once again announced that Bulgaria's top international Dimitar Berbatov will join France's Paris Saint-Germain even though the management of Manchester United has repeated repudiated such reports.

The latest media report sending Berbatov to PSG has come from the Italian media TuttoMercato, which reported that the Bulgarian striker accepted an offer to join PSF after a phone conversation with PSG manager Leonardo.

According to TuttoMercato, PSG's Brazilian manager called Berbatov last week, and was so excited that the Bulgarian accepted his offer that he shared the news with PSG players.

While the report of the Italian media in question cannot be confirmed for the time being, football experts have pointed out that Leonardo played in Italy for a long time and has many contacts there.

Getting Berbatov is reported to be No. 1 goal for PSG, with Fiorentina FC's Alberto Giraldino being second on the French team's list.

Last week Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson disproved recently highly intensified rumors that his club intends selling top-scoring Bulgarian forward Dimitar Berbatov to Paris Saint-Germain.

"All such speculations are complete nonsense, we would not have any benefit from that transfer," commented Sir Alex. Rumors of interest from PSG for Berbatov have been rife for months.
