Strauss-Kahn Went on Sex Spree Before Alleged Assault - Report

Dominique Strauss-Kahn allegedly revealed to his to his wife, Anne Sinclair, that he had sex with three women the night before he checked out of the Manhattan Sofitel in May, when he was accused of sexual assault.

The former International Monetary Fund's head is reported to have made the startling confession to his wife in a bid to convince her that he had not raped a hotel maid in a Manhattan on May 14, The Telegraph says.

In his defense, Strauss-Kahn has stated that he wanted to "let off the steam" before the presidential campaign started in France.

"So it wasn't just one for the road before the presidential campaign," a friend of Anne Sinclair has commented before the Le Pont magazine.

According to a media report, Strauss-Kahn tried to lure a hotel receptionist up to his room for champagne when he checked in to his Manhattan hotel on May 13.

Another woman was spotted on surveillance video at the hotel with Strauss-Khan about 1.30am on May 14 and left about 3am, the New York Post reported.
