Abductor of Ex-Miss Bulgaria Claims He Had Gotten Her Pregnant

Alexander Beredin, a Russian businessman who recently abducted former Miss Bulgaria, has claimed she is pregnant with his child.

Miss Bulgaria 2009 Antonia Petrova, 26, was abducted by Beredin, her ex fiancee, Tuesday night from a restaurant in Sofia's Boyana Quarter where she was having dinner with Adrian Rachev, aka the Romanian, a popular rap singer.

She was discovered by the police three hours later after they were alerted by the girl's parents, who received a call from the victim. Miss Bulgaria 2009 was wrapped in a blanket and had bruises on her body.

On Saturday, Beredin was released from a 72-hour arrest and claimed he had gotten Petrova pregnant, according to the Standart daily.

Speaking before Standart, Petrova denied she was present and refused to share any further comments on the case.
