Russia's Maria Sharapova will face Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic in the women's singles final of Wimbledon 2011.
The fifth-seeded Sharapova beat Sabine Lisicki 6-4, 6-3 in the semi-final of Wimbledon on Thursday.
Earlier the same day, Petra Kvitova, who beat Bulgaria's Tsvetana Pironkova in the quarter-finals, defeated fourth-seeded Victoria Azarenka 6-1, 3-6, 6-2.
Sharapova has won Wimbledon only once – back in 2004. Kvitova, who will play in her first Wimbledon final, will be the first left-handed player to reach the Wimbledon final since Martina Navratilova in 1994.
