The access to the site where Bulgaria's first ever Elevation festival event is being held is temporarily banned over gusty winds.

The information was provided Saturday by the Bulgarian daily Dnevnik.

Some of the cloth has been torn by the wind and is being taken down. The organizers further say they have begun efforts to make the stage more stable.

Elevation is held near the mountain town of Razlog.

There is possibility some of the Saturday concerts might be cancelled. The temperature is currently 18 degrees Celsius and the wind speed is 78 km/hour.

The performances were scheduled to begin at 2 pm with Delinquent Habits, Gentleman, Cypress Hill and 30 Seconds To Mars taking the stage.

Other performers at the Friday and Saturday happening included Jamiroquai, Morcheeba, and Stereo MCs, among others. Jamiroquai cancelled their concert after the group's front-man suffered a sprained ankle in Slovenia.

The Bulgarian bands that will take part in the festival are Ostava, Tri O Five, Monyx, Sepuko 6 and Odd Crew, as well as the Djs from Metropolis, DJ Marten, DJ Rawland and TV and radio host Krasimir Moskov.

Cypress Hill will have their first concert in Bulgaria. They will performs their greatest hits "Hits from the Bong", "Rock Superstar", "Tequila Sunrise", "Insane in the Membrane", as well as songs from their latest album "Rise Up".

Morcheeba had their first gig in Bulgaria on June 20, 2010 as part of the summer music festival ParkLive.
