Bulgaria's Dimitrov Dramatically Defeated by Tsonga at Wimbledon

Grigor Dimitrov, Bulgaria's top male tennis prospect, is out of the Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament after dramatically losing to one of the world's top players, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

In a spectacular match of the second round of the Championships in London. Dimitrov lost the match with a result of 7-6(4) 4-6 4-6 6-7(8) but proved that he deserves to be among the best.

In a game that lasted 3 hours and 33 minutes and was suspended several times because of rain, Dimitrov and Tsonga showed some beautiful performance.

For his participation in the singles tournament Grigor Dimitrov gained 45 points which would position him at about No 60.

The next event Dimitrov is scheduled to play in is the grass tournament in New Port, Rhode Island, USA, which will be held during the week of 4 July.

Dimitrov continues his participation at Wimbledon in the doubles tournament.
