Bulgaria to Host Annual Women's All-Star Tennis Tournaments

Bulgaria has been selected to host the three upcoming three editions of the WTA Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions.

The choice was made during the ongoing Wimbledon tournament in London, where the WTA's board of directors gathered for a sitting. The 2012 edition of the prestigious tournament will take place in the Bulgarian capital Sofia's brand new National Sports Arena between October 31 and November 4.

The Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions is a singles-only tennis tournament that is be played on indoor hard courts. Its third edition will be held at the Bali International Convention Centre in Bali, Indonesia from November 3 through November 6, 2011.

Players like Caroline Wozniacki, Daniela Hantuchova, Na Li, Samantha Stosur and Marion Bartoli have taken part in the tournament, whose first edition was in 2009.
