The right-wing joined Tuesday all Bulgarians who want to see the Supreme Judicial Council (VSS) dissolved.

The Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB) party is asking the VSS members to withdraw over the scandal with the appointment of Vladimira Yaneva as Chair of the Sofia City Court.

The right-wing is requesting debates between the main political formations for amendments of the Constitution regarding the selection of VSS members and reduction of their term in order to avoid the merge of executive and judiciary powers.

"The long-running process in Bulgaria's judicial system turned even uglier in the last few days. This VSS is so compromised that the sole issue is for them to leave," DSB Deputy Chair, Ekaterina Mihaylova, is quoted saying, pointing out the true solution would be to change the Constitution.

The DSB Chair, Ivan Kostov, stated his party sees no confidence votes against the cabinet before the fall presidential and local elections as useless, but pointed out the right-wing is to examine the grounds of each would be vote, before deciding how to act.
