US diver Bill Warren has decided to embark in a search for the remnants of the late Al Qaeda leader and notorious terrorist Osama bin Laden.

"I am mainly doing it to prove a point to see if he is really dead," Warren, 67, said on Sunday, as cited by San Diego 6, stating he was confident in his mission's success. "We have an approximate location the depth of water," he pointed out.

"We would photograph, videotape, and do a DNA test, and then try to figure out what we are going to do with his body after that," the driver elaborated on his team's plans. Warren has revealed he is using hi-tech equipment and several boats in the search, which he says will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

After US Navy Seals killed Bin Laden in an assassination raid on May 1 2011,  his body was buried into the North Arabian sea – a move which raised a lot of questions whether the Al Qaeda leader was really dead.
