Skype Goes Down Again in Europe

Skype went down again on Tuesday for many users throughout Europe, including Bulgaria.

"A small number of you may have problems signing in to Skype. We're investigating the cause, and hope to have more details to share soon," Peter Parkes wrote at http://heartbeat.skype.com on behalf of the company.

Many user however have blamed Microsoft, and even founder Bill Gates for the downtime, even though the multi-billion dollar acquisition of Skype hasn't closed yet.

Experts have commented that buying Skype would give Microsoft a recognized brand name on the Internet at a time when it is struggling to get more traction in the consumer market.

However, since the major deal was announced, Skype has become a victim to unspecified problems, with some reports of the program shutting down with a Windows error message.

Just ten days ago Skype suffered an inexplicable worldwide crash with users saying they have been booted of the system and were unable to login or even start up the Skype program itself.
