Bulgaria's Pironkova Advances at French Open

Bulgaria's top female tennis player, Tsvetana Pironkova, is through to round two, completing a 7-5 6-3 win over Australia's Casey Dellacqua at the French Open tournament.

Pironkova made two unforced errors all game and while even though she experienced some differences in the first set against the 26-year old  Australian, ranked 317th in the world, she secured herself 100 WTA points and EUR 25 000.

Pironkova will play Argentina's Gisela Dulko in round two at the prestigious Grand Slam tournament, after she also saw off Irina Falconi in straight sets, beating the American 6-3 6-4.
