The Bulgarian Ministers of Transport and Agriculture, Alexander Tsvetkov and Miroslav Naydenov, will be dismissed over failure to fulfill their obligations and pre-election scheming, announced Yane Yanev, leader of the conservative Order, Law and Justice, RZS, party.

Citing "reliable sources from GERB, including MPs and ministers", Yanev said Tuesday that Prime Minister Borisov may demand Alexander Tsvetkov's resignation as early as the morning session of the Council of Ministers.

The leader of the marginal conservative party explained that Tsvetkov's resignation would most probably be accompanied by that of seven or eight deputy ministers.

According to Yanev, the Agriculture Minister would be asked to leave at a later stage, again as part of Prime Minister Borisov's pre-election campaign.

One of the names on Yanev's dismissal list was Vladislav Goranov, Deputy Finance Minister and a key GERB member, that would be promoted to a higher position in the senior administration.

In Yanev's words, the remaining deputy ministers, officials of the Ministry of Interior, Foreign Ministry, Ministry of Environment and Water, Ministry of Agriculture and Food, etc, would not enjoy such "compensations".

Yanev vowed to consistently undermine GERB's campaign, following closely every step of the ruling party and exposing the corrupt and incompetent nature of its Cabinet.

The RZS leader added that Borisov had failed to learn from his mistakes, persisting with phone threats to senior officials of the National Revenue Agency, the customs administration and various inspectorates, the State Commission on Gambling and the Commission on Protection of Competition.

Yanev pledged to come up with new discrediting recordings obtained through special surveillance devices in the beginning of June.

"Borisov tells these people straight that their phones are being tapped", Yanev declared, adding that "people close to Hristina Mitreva, head of Bulgaria's Social Security Institute (NOI), have been secretly tapped and threatened with exposure in case she refused to resign."

In the meantime, Mitreva filed her resignation Tuesday, following two or three days of resistance.

When approached for comment, Krasimir Velchev, Chairman of the parliamentary group of GERB, said that he would not like to comment on statements of "mentally unbalanced people"

He explained that the one in charge of Cabinet reshuffles is Boyko Borisov.
