Bulgarian Police Crack Fake Euro Network

Bulgarian police have broken a network for printing fake Euros and confiscated fake notes with the nominal  value of EUR 0.2 M.

Working in cooperation with Europol, police discovered two printing facilities, as well as blueprints for the creation of more than EUR 0.5 M in EUR 100 and 200 bills.

The production of the criminal group was intended to be distributed across the European Union.

Police at the moment is checking the addresses of persons involved in the network, which operated in the region of Plovdiv, informed Minister of Interior Tsvetan Tsvetanov.
