Bulgarian Roads Again Under Heavy Traffic After Holidays

Society | May 8, 2011, Sunday // 18:01|  views

Heavy traffic is registered Sunday evening at the entry routes to major Bulgarian cities in the wake of the three non-working days after St. George's on Friday.

The entry into Sofia from the international E-79 road from Greece has been jammed in both directions, as is usual.

Traffic entering Sofia from the Trakiya Highway from the east is also heavy but unobstructed, with the Tsarigradsko Shosse Blvd also put under stress.

Roads in many parts of the country are wet due to the fallen rains.

Police are reminding drivers to drive cautiously and exercise patience.
