Bulgarian Bodybuilders Grab Balkan Crown

The representatives of Bulgaria won sweeping victories at the Balkan Bodybuilding Champonship in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, winning 8 gold medals.

As a result, the team of Bulgaria won the first place in the race and made a good bid to a great showing at the upcoming European Bodybuilding Championship to be hosted in Sofia, May 21-23.

Bulgaria's 7 individual champions are: Yovko Tihov (juniors, 75 kg), Nikolay Stoyanov (men's classical style, 175 cm), Konstantin Paskalev (men's classical style, 171 cm), Bonnie Serafimova (women, bodyfitness), Gerasim Dragnev (men, 70 kg), Valentin Razhankov (men, 80 kg) and Yuliy Rusev (men, over 100 kg).

The team is also reported to have stirred the heavy applause of the audience.
