Bulgaria's capital Sofia launched a campaign to clean the city of its discriminatory images and graffiti.
The campaign started Thursday after an agreement was made between Sofia's Mayor, Yordanka Fandakova, and the Bulgarian Jewish organization, Shalom. It targets statements and images which express hatred towards any minority groups or nations.
Key locations in downtown Sofia, such as the park in front of the Russian Church, the facade of the National Art Academy and the Sofia University, have already been cleaned with biodegradable materials.
